Matchbook Covers - Collecting

A handy album is now on the market that is especially designed for matchbook covers. These albums and other mountings for matchbooks are on sale at all hobby shops and in the hobby sections of department stores.

There is one kind of matchbook cover that most collectors seem to overlook. This is the specially made matchbook cover, for personal and home use, that bears the name or initials of the person for whom it is made. It is a pleasant, cheery reminder of a friend.

The arrangement of the covers in your album is a matter of personal taste, but any systematic arrangement makes it easier to find a particular item. Sort them by color, country of origin, by subject, industry, or any series of categories you wish.
