Electrical Projects To reassemble, reverse the disassembly procedure, e sure to use a drop of Loc-Tite when mounting the spindle heads to the spindle shaft. Lubricate the spindle gears by packing approximately 1 teaspoonful of XV59X3 grease between the gear and gear case in each cavity. The brushes must be installed so the contour at the end of the brush matches the curvature of the armature. Insert at least one shim between the ball and gear case at each end of the armature so the end play is 0.002 to 0.010". If motor or drive parts are disassembled, run motor for fifteen minutes after reassembly.

As a final test, with the switch in the on position, test at 1080 volts between each pin on the cord set and the hood and frame. The wattage should not be greater than 204W at 120V. The amperage input should not be greater than 1.7A.
