Electrical Projects Remove the switch bag, XF4X636, disconnect all leads, and remove the switch. Remove the connector, XF4X613. Pull the strain relief, XF4X778, from the case and remove the cord set. Next remove the lead clips, XF4X769 and XF4X795. Withdraw the two motor mounting screws, XF 1X406, and remove the complete motor assembly from the case. Pull the motor cover, XF35X85, from the motor. Pierce the expansion plug off center with a sharp-pointed tool and pry off the expansion plug, XF4X213. Remove the felt wick, XF4X588, C clip, XF4X173, washers. Sand the rotor shaft lightly with crocus cloth to remove any nicks or burrs; and remove the rotor, XF29X67, from the front of the field and frame assembly.



Reassembly and Repair

Reverse the disassembly procedure. Always replace the expansion plug by holding it in place and expanding it with a short section of Vfc" or %" rod with a slightly rounded end. Seal with oil-seal compound. Before assembling the switch to the case, the plastic bag, XF4X636, must be placed over the switch leads and connectors and the bag twisted around the leads and secured with electrical tape.

To insure proper installation of the blade, the following procedure must be used:
