Final Test

Test at 1100V for 1 second while the motor is warm and the switch is on. Check the wattage with the unit plugged into 120V ac outlet. The fan should start from a horizontal position when plugged into a 103V power supply. Observe the blade while the fan is running to make sure it is true and in balance.

Make certain the reversing switch is installed properly. With the switch in, the blade must turn clockwise when the operator is facing the front of the fan (blade side of the motor). Use Glyptal to hold the reversing switch knob if the fit is loose on the switch.
