Household Repairs Rubber strips around fenders pulled out. Clean the crack between fender and body with a thin spatula and emery cloth. Clean rubber strip with gasoline. Squeeze plastic rubber into crack and push strip back into place.

Holes in convertible tops. Out of matching fabric cut a patch 1" larger in all dimensions than the hole. Cut with pinking shears. Coat with Devcon Patch glue and smooth over hole. On vinyl tops use a vinyl atch and plastic-mending ad-esive.

Door or luggage compartment lock stiff. Squirt into keyhole a little auto-lock lubricant. Let it penetrate for an instant, then work lock back and forth.
