Seats torn. Seat fabrics are stretched too tight for you to sew a rip with any assurance that the stitches will not pull out. The only thing you can do is cut a patch out of matching fabric or out of the excess material tucked behind the back seat, coat lightly with appropriate glue and smooth over the tear. A better solution is to get seat covers.

Fabric on doors, side panels torn. Spread a light coat of Devcon Patch glue under the tear with a spatula; then immediately pull edges of tear together neatly, and smooth down. If the tear is very large, glue one section at a time.

Fabric on armrests worn. Remove screws under armrest. Rip out seams in fabric carefully and use the old covering as a pattern for a new one. Sew new covering out of matching or contrasting material, wrap around armrest, and screw armrest to door again.

Rubber floor mats torn. Clean mat with gasoline or benzine. Roughen surface with sandpaper. Apply plastic rubber to small holes and tears. For large holes, cut a patch from a tire tube or old rubber mat. Clean the back. Apply plastic rubber to the patch and to the mat, and smooth patch down.
