Household Repairs Handle or frame split. Spread Elmer's waterproof glue on both split edges and clamp together for 24 hours or longer with C-clamps.

Strings broken. Better have an expert restring the racket. However, you can buy lengths of racket string from sporting-goods or mailorder stores. Pull broken string ends out through holes in frame and knot them tightly against the frame. Cut replacement string longer than is needed and knot it at one end. Pull unknotted end through hole in top of frame and weave it through the sound strings. At bottom of frame, thread string through hole and knot it against the frame.
