Household Repairs Seams split. Sew together with strong cotton thread. Match stitches with surrounding seams.

Holes. Out of strong, soft leather cut a patch at least X" wider on all sides than the hole. Feather the edges slightly with a sharp razor blade. Coat back of patch and area around hole with Pliobond cement. Let dry until tacky, then press patch over hole.
