Doesn't heat. Check whether blanket is connected to cord and cord is plugged into house current. Check whether fuse on house circuit has blown and whether outlet used for blanket is okay (just plug in a light). Examine cord for breaks and replace if necessary. If these measures fail, you need a new blanket.
Hot spots or cold spots in blanket. Buy a new one.
Plastic control case broken. If control is still operative, disconnect it and coat broken edges with plastic-mending adhesive. Press together overnight.
