Motor runs, boat doesn't go. Propeller shear pin is broken. Drive it out and replace with new one.

Motor runs, boat sluggish. Propeller may be fouled or damaged. Motor may not be deep enough in water.

Propeller nicked. If nicks are not serious, smooth them with a fine-toothed file. To maintain propeller balance, try to remove die same amount of metal from each blade. Do this even if only one blade is damaged. If propeller has been dressed in this way several times, have it reconditioned by an expert.
