Household Repairs On masonry walk. Use masonry nails if the object to be supported is not heavy. The specially hardened nails can be hammered directly into mortar joints, concrete blocks, and cinder blocks.

Lead anchors are stronger and more reliable. Drill a hole into any type of masonry surface with a carbide-tipped drill. Tap in a lead anchor the same size as the hole. Then insert a screw of the size recommended for the anchor used. The screw, of course, is Brst passed through the object to be supported.

Rawl plugs are used like lead anchors, do the same job and are equally reliable. Made of fiber, they require shghtly smaller holes.

Miracle anchor bolts or nails are used primarily when other supporting means are difficult to use or when you install a considerable number of anchor points (as when applying wood furring strips to a basement wall). Simply butter the large, flat, perforated head of the bolt or nail with Miracle Adhesive and stick it to the wall. When the adhesive sets, the object to be supported is drilled to receive the bolt or nail, slipped over the anchor and fastened down.

On ceramic tile walls. Use Miracle anchor bolts or nails.
