Household Repairs Bent. Place in a barely warm oven until wax softens sligntly and candle can be bent straight again.

Colored surface broken off white wax base. Hold chip about an inch over the hole and hold a lighted match underneath so that you soften both the bottom of the chip and the base at the same time. Immediately drop chip into hole. This is a tricky little job, however, because it is difficult to get the chip placed properly in the very short time that the wax surfaces are soft.
