Household Repairs Doesnt work. Try another cord; the original may be broken. Check whether fuse on house circuit has blown. Plug a light into outlet used for coffee maker to see whether it is defective. If these measures don't work, take coffee maker to a service shop.

Stains an inside. Dissolve a kitchen detergent in enough hot water to cover the stain. Pour into coffee maker bowl (from which any other parts have been removed). Turn on coffee maker until water is very hot. Then empty and rinse with clear water.
