Doesn't work. Check: Has fuse in machine blown (if there is one)? Has fuse at fuse box blown?

Shorts out. Check: Has a bobby pin or other metal object worked through a hole in the basket so that it rubs on parts behind it?

Pilot light on gas dryer out. Follow instructions in owner's manual.
