Household Repairs Ornamental feather bent, broken. Poke a stiff wire of appropriate diameter up through the quill and well past the break. If you can work some Duco cement up to the break, so much the better.

Edge of ornamental feather torn from quill. Usually there is a sliver of the quill still attached to the feathers. Glue this to the body of the quill with Duco cement.
