Household Repairs Note. Call a serviceman if machine doesn't work properly, but before doing so check and correct points noted below.

Doesn't work. Check: Is it plugged in? Has fuse blown?

Runs too cold or too hot. Check: Is thermostat set at zero as it should be? Does box need defrosting?

Labors. Clean out dust, cobwebs, etc., from operating mechanism with a vacuum cleaner hose. Sweats. If sweating occurs only around the top rim, check if gasket is sealing tightly. Wash with soap and water. If sweating continues, call a serviceman. You also need a serviceman if box sweats in one or two spots on the surface but not over the entire surface.
