Household Repairs Loose. If caster fits into a metal socket in the furniture leg, remove it from socket and wrap the shank with friction tape. If shank of caster is set directly in wood, hold in place with epoxy glue. If caster is secured to furniture with screws, fill screw holes with plastic wood and reset screws.

Frozen, wont swivel. Check whether sticking is caused by thread or string wrapped around the caster. Clean thoroughly. Apply a drop of oil and work caster back and forth. Remove excess oil.
