Household Repairs Rocker split. Spread Weldwood plastic resin glue on split surfaces and clamp wood together with C-clamps. If additional reinforcement is needed, drill 1/4" holes up through the rocker after glue has hardened. Coat 1/4" dowels with glue and tap into holes. Cut dowels off flush with surface when glue sets.
