Handle sides (bone, plastic, etc.) loose. Spread epoxy glue between body of knife and handle and clamp.Blade broken. If knife is worth saving, reshape blade on a grinding wheel.
Dull. Lay blade almost flat on a carborundum stone and sharpen with a circular motion.
