Molding - M - Household Repairs

Pulled away from wall or ceiling, floor or baseboard. Drive 3" or 4" finishing nails (depending on thickness of molding) diagonally through molding into the corner. If crack remains along either edge of ceiling molding or at top edge of base molding, fill with spackle and sand smooth. If base molding cannot be nailed down tight to floor, check whether there are bobby pins, grit, or dirt underneath.
