Oilcloth

Holes. Trim out hole neatly. Place a scrap of matching oilcloth, shiny side up, underneath and draw an outline of the hole on it. Take out patch and scrape off the shiny surface around the outline. Then spread thin layer of Elmer's Glue-All on the scraped area and press the patch on the oilcloth under the hole.

Rips. Bring edges together. Glue a scrap of fabric underneath with Elmer's Glue-All.
