Household Repairs Jammed with a broken pencil or crayon. Remove sawdust holder. Unscrew slotted bolt in one of the grinding wheels and pull wheel to one side but don't try to remove it entirely. You should then be able to reach and pry out the stoppage with a knife or small screwdriver. If you can't, loosen the other grinding wheel.
