Household Repairs Table wobbly. If filling loose screw holes with plastic wood and generally tightening screws and metal braces does not help, cut a 3" board into 2' lengths. You will need one board for each table leg. Cut a 90° V-notch into end of each board. At the other end, hinge boards to short cross blocks of wood. Position the blocks on the bottom of the table top so that they are 18" from the legs and bisect the corner angles of the table. Glue or screw the blocks to the bottom of the table top at this point. Press notch of each brace against the leg it is designed to support. Drive a screw through one edge of brace into the table leg.

Dents in top. Sand paint from dent. Fill with plastic wood. Sand smooth when dry and repaint.

Net torn. Sew torn edges together with strong cotton thread.
