Household Repairs Plaster ornament broken. Coat broken surfaces with Duco cement and let dry. Apply a second coat of cement to one surface and press together firmly.

Ornamental plaster surface chipped. Saturate with water. Mix plaster of Paris with water to form a stiff paste. Apply to chipped surface and mold roughly with your fingers. When dry, the plaster can be shaped accurately with a knife, file, and sandpaper.

Plaster ornament separated from another material such as felt. Apply Duco or Pliobond cement to the separated surfaces and press together. See also household decorative accessories. Hard plaster can be glued much like ceramics.
