Hemstitching broken. This can be mended but it's a painstaking job. Better separate hem edge from sheet entirely and rejoin with a strip of straight-edge lace. Or if appearance is not important, simply sew the hem edge over the sheet edge on your sewing machine or by whipping.

Contour sheet split at corners. Apply press-on mending tape over the tears. Then, if you dry sheets in a dryer, stitch down the edges of the tape and the torn edges of the sheet.
