Splintered. Splintering usually occurs along the edges of a ski. Trim out the broken wood as cleanly as possible with a knife and small chisel. Form a stick of hardwood to fill roughly into the gap. Glue in place with epoxy glue (use plenty) and let dry for 24 hours. Then trim down with a knife and sandpaper.

Holes in wood. Fill with plastic wood and sand smooth when dry.

Steel edges loose. Fill screw hole in wood with plastic wood, let dry and then set in screw. If this does not hold, fill hole again with plastic wood. Then drill a new hole through the metal and slightly into the wood. Drive in screw.

Note. If plastic-covered skis are damaged, let an expert repair them.
