Household Repairs Rim of gallery tray loose. If possible, clean metal and solder rim in place (see Basic Methods: How to Solder Metal). Otherwise, run a small bead of plastic steel around bottom of rim where it joins the base.

Glass in tray broken. Pry off wood or hardboard back. Replace glass. Reglue back with Elmer's Glue-All.
