Lock bent. This
is very difficult to straighten but try to do so with pliers. If this doesn't work, pull away trunk lining, and file heads off rivets holding lock. Remove lock and straighten it in a vise and by hammering. Then rivet back on the trunk.
Leather handles broken. Remove trunk lining and file heads off rivets holding the end caps. Remove caps and handle. Cut heavy webbing belt to proper length and whip ends with thread. Then make a hole in both ends and rivet or bolt the webbing to the trunk. Re-rivet end caps or try sticking them down with epoxy glue.
Metal corners pulled off. Glue down with epoxy glue.
Lining torn. Stick back in place with Devcon Patch glue.
