Broken. Cut a patch out of vulcanized fiberboard, roughen one side with sandpaper. Roughen area around tear. Apply epoxy glue to patch and press together.

An alternative is to cut a patch out of thin aluminum flashing, hold it back of tear and drill small holes through the two materials. Then insert aluminum rivets.
