Household Repairs Doesn't heat. Check whether fuse on house circuit has blown. Plug a light into outlet used for waffle iron to see whether outlet is defective. Then disconnect waffle iron and examine cord for breaks. Replace it if necessary. If these measures fail, take iron to service shop.
