Household Repairs Cracked. If bowl is not used for salad, force epoxy glue into crack from both sides. If bowl is used for salad (in which case wood may be too oil soaked for glue to adhere), cut out crack in a V on the inside of the bowl and pack in plastic wood. Smooth down firmly. Then force epoxy glue into crack from the outside.

Worn, marred. Fill gouges with plastic wood after sanding them thoroughly. Obliterate scratches and general roughness by sanding.
