Fuel Lines
In cases where
flared tube fittings are to be installed it is seldom that a special tool for flaring the end of the pipe will be at hand, but one may be easily made by taking an old bolt or piece of bar stock of slightly greater diameter than the tube and grinding it as follows:
First, grind the metal down to approximately half its original diameter and for a distance of about three-quarters of an inch from the end.
