209. Door, Accordion
Works stiffly. Clean the overhead track and coat it very lightly with vaseline. Touches latch jamb at top but not at bottom. Unscrew door from opposite jamb. Loosen all the screws in the overhead track except the last one before the latch jamb. Starting at the opposite jamo, insert wood shims under the track until door hangs parallel with the latch jamb. Then screw track tight. For appearance's sake, the long wedge-shaped crack between the track and the top jamb should be filled with a continuous strip of wood. Touches latch jamb at bottom but not at top. Loosen all the screws in the overhead track except the last one before the opposite jamb. Shim the track down, as above, until door hangs parallel with latch jamb. Holes in vinyl covering. Cut a patch out of matching vinyl and glue over hole with plastic-mending adhesive. Let dry about six hours before moving door. Damage to wood doors. See wood.
