Check the adjustment and the mechanical linkage from the lever to the switch. Weak vacuum can be caused by deposits clogging the cleaner, a loose fan, improperly positioned suction control, or an overly full bag.

2. Fans
To remove the rear cover, first remove the adjustment nut and push away the linkage. Note the fiber washer between the linkage and the crank.
